Meet the 2022 e86 ICT Scholarship Beneficiaries

We are very pleased to announce our beneficiaries for the 2022 e86 ICT Scholarship.

‘e86 Humanity’ is the philanthropic arm of e86 Limited where we focus on developing the mind through various competitions and scholarship programs.

Our annual scholarship program is a medium we have created for individuals who are financially incapable, disadvantaged, and unable to gain access to our training programs but have done remarkable things within the society in the previous year.

e86 Limited’s annual scholarship is a tuition-free scholarship that focuses on empowering people within the society who have given a helping hand to others from the little that they have.

Meet the beneficiaries:

Chienyem Chinekwu Ike

Chienyem Chinekwu Ike
Chienyem Chinekwu Ike is a gifted craftswoman from Imo state, Ideato. She is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Plymouth, UK.
She produces all kinds of bags. As a creative, she also developed an interest in Graphic designs and sourced for opportunities to grow and increase her knowledge in this field but didn’t have the wherewithal to learn it at a higher level.
This seeming limitation never stopped her from always reaching out to those in need, one of which includes an incident where she reached out to a little boy she met Hawking provisions by gifting him a piece of her craft she designed, a rare edition that could be retailed at $40, for free. She gave both himself and his mum money for food, along with free provisions.
These acts of hers brought smiles and hope to their faces.
She still calls the little boy and his mum every now and then to check on them.

Kelechi Samuel

Kelechi Samuel
Kelechi Samuel Chigozie is a graduate of Chemistry from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike Abia state and a native of Imo State, Thitte Uboma.
Music and volunteering are two things Kelechi is passionate about. As a keyboardist, he has used his musical skills as a channel of service in his church for 5 years and also reaches out to humanity by carrying out various volunteering projects in the community he resides.
Last year December, under the auspice of his Church and Pastor, without charge, he trained 12 individuals to be proficient at playing various musical instruments at Legacy International school, Madalla , Niger State.

David Ishaya

David Ishaya
David Ishaya has become an influence to both his place of work and those around him by leaving an indelible memory, a call to humanity in their hearts.
David is a Native of Gombe and a National Diploma holder in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Beyond these achievements, his act of philanthropy and compassion towards one of his colleagues at his former place of work, moved the company to establish a project that ensures they pay visits to Orphanage homes with household items and food donations on a monthly basis.
David asked the company to split his salary into two and give a part to his colleague who had just been operated on to settle his medical bills, this made every other person donate towards this same cause.
Despite his humble background, being a breadwinner, and paying his way to get an education, he has not withheld his goodwill of reaching out to others.

Olugbenga Ojubanire

Olugbenga Ojubanire
Ojubanire Olugbenga Ayo is from Osun state, Ife central. He is an MSc. Holder in Business Administration.
He was nominated by one of the many students that have partaken of his goodwill and compassion towards humanity. As a lecturer in a renowned university in Nigeria, he has chosen to use his place of influence to express his passion and commitment for raising career-driven young professionals and his NGO (Vintage Center For Leadership And Professional Development) to help over 3000 undergraduates and young professionals to get answers to pressing questions related to career development, take professional courses with verified certificates, take up leadership roles and get their dream jobs.
He also gave sponsorship of tuition and allowance to numerous students (two students this year), including a 300level student at the university where he lectures.
His students testify that he is a good communicator and he makes learning easy and fun.

They have all been enrolled free of charge in different ICT training courses and their classes will kick off in the coming week. We are glad to walk with them through the e86 experience and we are eager to see what they will make out of this opportunity.

e86 Limited’s annual scholarship will be open again on 1st December 2022 for nominations, click here to see the requirements.
