Course Description

Level 4 diploma in computing (L4DC), and Level 4 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L4DC BM), is the first year of the NCC Education degree pathway, which is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system. It allows you with level 3 or SSCE certificates to study in their home country for a year, and complete the program in either of these countries; UK, New Zealand, Canada or Australia.

L4DC provides learners with an understanding of a wide range of important subjects, in relation to computing including databases, networking, programming and web design.

It gives the opportunity to develop essential thinking and study skills, not only within the computing sphere but also within the context of business through a balance of academic and career subjects. The qualification will allow you to understand and enter the computing profession with the necessary knowledge expected within the industry and the ability to apply the skills to a range of IT-related functions.
