EOM Business Network’s Interview With The Senior Partner Of e86

The senior partner of e86 limited in the person of OluGbenga Odeyemi, was on a face to face interview on Monday 23rd Nov. 2020 on the program EOM business network televised on Silverbird TV.

In the interview, he talked about the mission and vision of the company. He said the vision of the company is to be the most reliable and efficient technology gateway in Africa, he added that the company intends to achieve this vision by doing three primary things;

  1. Build software products and services that solve problems across Africa. He said in 2016 an e-library called Panacea e-library was built to that effect, which has attracted users from 21 different countries.
  2. Deliver services across all works of life be it in finance, education etc.
  3. Human capital development; which is why the company has been focused on training that will improve the lives of people and increase competence and self-sufficiency in Africa.

Furthermore, he added that the company is focused on delivering quality services and training, and has gone out of its way to acquire partnerships with the likes of ; Microsoft, Google, Oracle Academy, Cisco Networking Academy and recently NCC Education UK. He explained that with NCC Education UK, young people in Nigeria can study for 1 year and 2years in the UK, New Zealand, Canada, USA or Australia to complete their degree education.

However, one of the top goals of the organization is to develop capacity within Africa for Africans, so that in a couple of years Africa can be self-sufficient.

Lastly, he talked about the quality of products and services e86 limited offers; ranging from building software to training, he said the company’s focus is to build products that is not only focused on Nigeria alone but beyond, making it relevant across borders and continents. He also added that in terms of training the company is focused on training that will make people relevant and confident in the society because beyond the skills they are getting, they are also getting certificates that are internationally recognized.
