Meet Rotimi Michael James, our 2021 Scholarship Beneficiary.

Meet Rotimi Michael James, our 2021 Scholarship Beneficiary.

Meet Rotimi Michael James, a job-searching graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the university of Jos.

Rotimi is from Owo town in Ondo State, Nigeria, but he has lived most of his life in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

He moved to the FCT Abuja, Nigeria shortly after completing his one-year mandatory national youth service, in search of greener pastures.

Shortly after arriving in Abuja, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, and everything had to be shut down, Rotimi spent all his time during the pandemic lockdown giving free lessons to kids in his neighbourhood on Mathematics and Biology.

This singular act prompted one of the parents whose kid benefitted from the free lessons to recommend Rotimi for the e86 Limited 2020 Scholarship. After a screening exercise that verified his nomination, he was given the scholarship.

‘e86 Humanity’ is the philanthropic arm of e86 Limited where we focus on developing the mind through various competitions and scholarship programs.

Our annual scholarship program is a medium we have created for individuals who are financially incapable, disadvantaged, and unable to gain access to our training programs but have done remarkable things within the society in the previous year.

e86 Limited’s annual scholarship is a tuition-free scholarship that focuses on empowering people within the society who have given a helping hand to others from the little that they have.

Rotimi is currently enrolled free of charge in our Python Programming course, he’s working hard and hopes to make the best of the opportunity.

e86 Limited’s annual scholarship will be open again on 1st December 2021 for nominations, click here to see the requirements.
